About Hendreck Joseph Films
Bio
Born and raised in South Florida, I am a filmmaker of Haitian descent who loves turning everyday conversations into visionary works of art. I’ve been writing short stories since middle school, but my passion for film and overall media productions didn’t spark until high school. I’ve always been comfortable in front of the camera, from singing, acting, and performing, but I was much more enamored with what went on behind it. Thus, jumpstarting my journey of exploring the art form of filmmaking.
I earned a BA in English at Florida Atlantic University in 2014 and an MFA in screenwriting at one of the top 15 film programs in the country, Florida State University in 2023. My goal is for my work to reach and inspire as many people.
